ok im stuck and dont know which way to go. i listen to hip hop 99.9% of the time. but i am not looking to win any contests or show off and be herd 20 miles away. i am looking for the cleanest, tightest sound i can get with one of these. i have infinity 6 1/2 refrence components up front and 6 1/2 regular in the back ( might switch to the infinity kappa perfect components in front and back). just got a rockford 400-4 amp...and now looking to get 2 subs. im thinking (2) 10's would be better because i want a stealth install so not alot of room. here are the choices.

i am getting a custom box, most likley fiberglass so that i know makes a big diffrence also. let me know what you think.....thanks for your help!!

 

I know it's not on your list, but if you're looking for SQ, then I would suggest looking into Image Dynamics ID10s or ID12s for that much power.

 

No reason to do shallow mounts unless you're going to use actual shallow boxes.
There's a lot of different companies out there and I try to stay with the more independent companies. If you want to stick with 10's, you could look into Fi Q's. www.ficaraudio.com
