Define your needs. How much space do you have to work with? What amp will push it? Looking for SQ, SPL, all around good sub?

I second that! My brother has a 10" 9500 on a custom ported box and it hits like a ****. I have 4 7500 10" on a sealed box and i love them but it also depends how much space are you willing to lose..

Wow have not been able to log in for a while. thanks for the replies, as of right now i plan on going with a 13W7 in a ported box, but it will be a while untill i can cuz i just paid for school and with the car payment :< i need to win the lottery lol

btwI dont care how much space it takes up as long as it is loud and clean and doesn't interfear with the seating. i would like to run approximately 1000 wats

you're about to get your ___ ripped off to hell and back. honestly....plz reconsider. you can do SO much better for the money. think about it man....$700 for a freakin single 13" sub? thats ridiculous! for your own good, change stuff up man. how soon do you need to buy? if you're gonna fit a 13"...frankly...id step up to a 15" and get a stereo integrity Mag....it'll knock that JL up pretty bad. $500 for a 15 right now, and im sure you can talk dealers down quite a bit from that. you could almost get 2 15" SI Mag's for 700 bucks.....and i guarantee you they'll knock the crap outta the JL. or get 2-3 Fi Q's...you won't know what the hell hit ya. but 700 for a single 13"....you're just paying for the name man...if you compared its performance to other subs of equal caliber, itd be priced right around 280-300 bucks. dont pay for a name, pay for sound.
