Default scion security system

Had anyone installed this factory alarm system? What sensitivity level do you set yours at? I left it at level 5 just like what it says on the manual and it seems like it's not trigerring the alarm

i would raise the sensitivity but i dont wanna move all those panels again... is it something wrong with my alarm or do i just need to raise the sensitivity?

the insturction said to install it next to the shifter.. try tapping on the passenger side too. it's lot more sensitive on the passenger side than the drivers side due to the steering wheel column and the shifter
