What does this wire goto?
I already have an amp connected and system working. But just wondering what does the wire goto.
From the pics posted on here it looks like some cut it and just attached the wire to the amp. But I seen others state they tapped into it, which is what I did.

I just put in a temp system with some stuff I had laying around and will be redoing it pretty soon. So if I don't need to tap into it I'd rather just have it soldered directly to it.

yes i found out the hard way thats part of the mirrors circuit it goes to the fuse junction box that also control the mirrors so if you burn the box ur radio wont turn on and ur mirrors wont work

how?? well i got lazy and didn't want to turn the radio off before i connected the remote turn on for the second amp

 

still.. all you will do is blow a fuse.. you could twist it together with the ground with the car running.. and it would just pop the fuse.. fix the connection, replace the fuse, good to go
