weirdo button on the drive side?
theres this button under the steering wheel above the pedals, horizontaly to the hood latch release about 12" to the right. what does that button do? i think its for your tire sensors but im sure im wrong
from the limited description i think you are talking about the circular button. yeah that is the tire reset button.
never tried it, but no that you point it out maybe someone can try removing the sensors and reseting the sensors to zero???

when you reset the tpms system.... or even reinitialize it.. it'll still be looking for the sensors.
meaning you can't swap wheels without that light turning on... (not unless you take those sensors out of your wheels and put them in the new ones)

that sounds like it'll work..
but nonetheless.. you're gonna have to get those tire sensors out in the first place too ya know..
and that'll involve removing the tires.

dont the sensors just trigger a curuit or something....couldnt i just tap the wires to gether to complet the cuircut? or something like that. theres gotta be a way. i dont wanna put snow tires on in the winter and then come spring have to take the tires off to get the values and put it back on the other rim. i would like to make them work on my spring rims/tires because i paid money for those rims and they have a lower profile so if i do get a flat less chance of messing up the rim and spendy tires. i. i could care less if i got a flat on my winter setup. just dont wanna see the dam light all winter.
You where given the best resolution for this.
Get a small pvc tube, a couple of caps for it, and a threaded valve stem. stuff your tpms sensor in the tube with a rag, and pressure it up slowly to 35psi and stash it in your car.
btw did you paint your bumper or use an overlay?
