Default When using factory system, where to i get "remote wire"??

I will be trying to install a simple amp and sub to our 09 Xb with the base sterio. Nothing upgraded. I have a line converter with volume control. I I was thinking of where I'm going to get the remote wire for the amp?

I have only installed stuff with a aftermarket head unit. Anyone know the recommended way to do this?

Also any tips on locations or routing for this and where I should tap into the rear speakers for the line converter.

This will be a small Birthday (surprise) present for my wife, and with our newborn I have not much extra time to be planing this. I have a few hrs scheduled for this.

thanks for your help guys/gals.

2008 Scion xB Car Stereo Radio Wiring Diagram
Car Radio Constant 12v+ Wire: Light Green
Car Radio Switched 12v+ Wire: Gray
Car Radio Ground Wire: Brown
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Green
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger: Orange
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Amplifier Location: N/A
Front Speakers Size: N/A
Front Speakers Location: N/A
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Pink
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Violet
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Blue
Rear Speakers Size: N/A
Rear Speakers Location: N/A
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Black
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Red
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): White
So I'm guessing the "Car Radio Switched 12v+ Wire: Gray" wire would be the wire I want to tap into for my amp remote wire?

thanks for the link, anyone else have general tips about running stuff in this car feel free.
