xB 2 Alarm Chirping

Hi Everyone,

I just traded my 2005 xB for a 2009 Stingray MEtallic xB. The alarm on this thing chirps everytime I lock and unlock it. Is therea way to disable that sound?

you mean the beep and the double beep? it's supposed to do that. All toyotas do that.

i say just listen for the speaker that makes the noise then unplug it..

I would like to disable it too. I cannot find where the noise comes from. Every other car I have had had a way to program the chirp to off.

I didn't like the stock chirping too. Kinda loud late at night. After getting a Viper alarm installed, I don't need to hear that anymore. Viper has a silent arm/disarm feature.
