^^true dat. But if the insurance does buy it from you, you should ask how much they will sell it back to you for.

I had a car get smashed and the insurance paid me 1500 for it. I then bought it back for 250 and sold it for parts fir 600. So I really made 1850.

no airbags went off, pretty surprised actually. just got to the shop today so I wont know what they decide until probably monday...poor girl.

 

that is strange that no airbags went off. but then again you wernt hit in front or the middle of the side and i dont think there are impact sensors in the front side panels

no, didn't get a chance to get any pics of the other car. I was a little dazed after the crash and between keeping my GF calm and speaking with the police it just didn't happen. I will hopefully be hearing from the body shop today and I guess we will see what happens. Total bummer.

Well the verdict is in. Totaled. Going to go look at some 2012s this weekend, but I have to say, I'm not in love with the new front bumper. Anyone have any input on the 2011-12s?
