Well you could get a new 2012. Use your old bumper, front right panel, get new front bumper and front left panel and bam! Its a 08-010 lol

 

Get a 2012 Kia Soul. It makes the xb2 seem pre-historic.

Pretty certain you don't need any new sheet metal when changing either fascia, but don't know if there's any difference in the shape of the foam behind it.

Yeah, really. I read the link and it's not clear there's any improvement to the basic model, just if you up the price, especially to the top. Outside of plagiarism, I've nothing against the Soul and I admire the hamster ads, but I don't get that it's superior to the xB2. However, I think it fair to say it's a reasonable alternative. From what I've read in reviews, however, I'm inclined to think the xB2 is the overall better vehicle -- especially if cargo space matters ! None the less, I acknowledge the Soul comes across as pretty cool.

 

Thought about a fit, 5 door yaris or cube? I was looking for a wrecked fit when I came across my xb2 (and fell in love with it).

The fit and yaris (also known as the vitz) have HUGE aftermarket followings, I'm not so sure about the cube though.
