i ran those lights on my 08, i bought them off ebay with the HIDs preinstalled. they were bright as hell and i constantly had people flicking their lights at me. i also had major condensation issues with these...but i loved how they looked!

Mauby, looking SIIIIICK! Lovin it. As far as the Fog Lights, hit up TRDSparks.com for the fog light kit, then Hit up FIG Engineering for the lower grille. The grille is the wire mesh, but 1.) It's powder coated, and 2.) It is contoured to the XB Lower grille shape so it's not that tacky flat look. I have my fogs and all that jazz and it looks pretty sweet. I also hooked up HIDs in the Fog light housings and they light up the road at night. It's fantastic. Name: xB.jpg

That's what it would basically look like. And if you like the mounting brackets check out http://www.2zero6factory.com/#!plate-mounts My buddy Cliff makes them.

Thanks. Your ride looks great!! I've already mounted my plate like yours on the lower grill, made my own brackets. Fogs and HID's are next.

Thanks Mauby, I feel the same way about your whip so far! It's always fun to have a blank pallette isn't it? And xbaholic I totally agree with ya! I love working on my car and thinking of new ways to tweek it, it's even more fun when someone thinks of something I never would have and totally owns it!

Added a wing and I love the look!
Been getting great compliments as well...I think I'm going to keep it black.

TRD's installed as well.
All backyard work done by me and my son. Going to redo the system and get the nose repainted soon. Now the debate is if to paint the roof black?

1. What is the mirrored light you mention? I've been thinking of running a light into the vanity mirrors.

2. If you're adding the bike rack and fairing with the black spoiler, you should paint your roof black, too. It'd look killer.

I will take a pic of it tomorrow.
I think I am inclined to agree with you and my son on the roof.

This why you don't see that rice shlt on my car! Only Scion Honda and Cavaqueer owners still buy these kinda junk mods.

Hopefully the FR-S will help mature the trends in the current Scion community, otherwise I'm leaving Scion and its crappy rice modding community and moving onto the next level.

The offset and stretched tires of today are the bodykits and underglow of yesterday. Hellaflush=Rice

But i think rice can be nice.

I agree and disagree..while trends within any scene will come and go, a well executed build using simple mods and quality parts/workmanship will stand the test of time for a long time. I've been in the car game since '94 and have seen a lot things come and go....eventually the scion scene will find its non trendy medium within the builds being done by the community....currently the scion scene is where the Honda scene was 6-8 years ago.
