Does anyone know when the 2009 xB's are going to be released? I just ordered a new one and the dealer didn't have what I want, so they said they'll order it. They told me today that it might be an '09?! I thought they're not released until August...? I am in Oklahoma if that makes any difference.

Anyone know the dates? Are they going to be identical to the '08?

 

im pretty sure they will be the same..... maybe just maybe different tail lights but that would be luck

 

Thats pretty sweet, I was wondering that too because im moving from alaska to arizona during the beginning of summer and rather then pay for a ferrry and gas and other expenses i was just going to sell mine and buy a new one in AZ, and i was hoping they would have the 09 buy sept, but what you are saying seems very promising.

And to your question the 09 should be almost exactly the same, except maybe a few minor tweeks here and there, working out the kinks.

 

but then with scion sales down they may do a little something to spice it up... hoepfully.

I bought it in early october, so yeah i've only had it a few months but after looking at what it would cost to get it to AZ i decided to try and sell it for like 15,500 and if i can sell it for that then im coming out ahead of the game and if not ill just have to drive it down.

I'm actually going to a program called masters commission its like mission work stuff, then i have a scholorship to UAA the next year, or when ever i decide to go.

it might be before that. i got my 08 tc back at the middle/end of june 07. so it all depends on when they start delivering to dealers

 

I'm wondering if they're going to keep the single reverse light. That seems to be the biggest thing I read over and over that people don't like. Either because it looks weird and/or because it doesn't light up that well. I don't mind the way it looks, but it does suck sometimes with it's limited light output.

All Toyota would have to do is make a new bumper and redo that part of the wiring harness. They can just use the Tails from a Rumion.

 

The 09s will probably begin rolling into dealers around June-July like all of the other years.

 

I'm guessing may they'll roll out, heck they got 09 camrys out already! That's Crazy! Expect the 2010 models out by December LOL!

 

so this is waht they told me in terms of releasing..any model that has a new look and an upgrade will be early in the shops. ie. camry (looks pretty good actually) and the Matrix.

The sales guy told me the xB would be the same as 2008...though it might be that he just wanted to sell me a car... :-)
In any case, I am happy..it does the job..I can stick my longoboard inside it...still deciding on a roofrack for my stand up paddle boards... :-)

But knowing Scion after these last few years they release the next MY in the year before. So I doubt they would change it now. And Toyota releases cars through out the year instead of September-October like most manufacturers.

 

dont you guys mean the 09 corrola not the camry, the corrola gets redesigned for 09 but the camry i think is pretty much the same.

 

No, Toyota has the 09 Camry, Corolla, and Matrix on the market currently.

 

I was refuring to this I think tautologies meant corolla because the matrix and corolla remake came out at the same time the camry is pretty much the same and 09 came out a little later

Unless the camry did get a redesign and if it did i cant tell.

 

Im originaly from AZ so i know what im in for. I'll olny be there during sept to april anyway so no 120 degrees thank God.
