the nose is ugly gotta say the inside is what the 08 year should have been from the start (telescopic wheel, usable armrest, more contoured seats etc) would be nice to see the Tc be retired sorta like what happened to the first gen Xb as I am seeing way too many of them

Am I in the xb1 hate forum or something??? So, this 2011 xb looks 90% like our xb2 and everyone is clowning it? I don't get it. For the most part, it looks just like our XB2 IMO.
If some of you guys find it weird how some xb1 guys hate on us now, imagine how hilarious it must be for them to see us clown the 2011 model that looks almost identical to ours! haha.
I actually like it. How can you not see the potential in that thing??? It's just like our car!

oh bastards. The 2011 gets a telescoping steering wheel and better center console. No more tiny folding arm rest. The seats appear to new as well.
I can do without the new front and rear bumper, but the interior upgrades are pretty nice.

So Buy a used 2006.5 Gen 1 Xb
I bought a used 2006.5 Xb Polar White with under 17,000 miles two months ago. I love it. Buy one, they are out there. The original owner's wife had to have a mini cooper, thank you very much!

I am do not like it however the styling is doing what it is supposed to do create strong opinions and be different. Scion styling should be a bit polarizing. Love it or hate.

As someone who disliked the xB2, I actually like the upgrade.
The front grille is much more 'mean' looking. The interior bits really add to the total package, And the single reverse light always bugged me.
I'd actually buy an xB2.2

*EDIT*
After looking at the photos of the '11 xb in more detail the fenders and hood look almost the same as the 08-10.

I like the redesign a lot. The front grille really makes it look more aggressive. The weird thing, though, is that it echoes a Prius grille.
The bumper and new tail lights are not really all that to me. They look cheesy and don't really belong on the box. I wish the reflectors were rectangular. The tail lights are uglier than the ones that are on the stock xB2.
The interior is nice. I love the redesign.
Overall, I think it's great. It's a much better redesign than the latest RS of the tC.

I gotta hand it to Scion, this has more character this go around. xB2.2 is okay.

The Scion brand's poster car, the boxy xB, gets a freshened face for the 2011 model year, as well as some minor interior upgrades. Overall, the exterior changes give the econobox a more aggressive appearance – a good thing, since the second-generation xB wasn't appealing to the young, hipster crowd nearly as much as the automaker would have hoped. (We much prefer the first-generation car, for what it's worth.)
Up front, the revised fascia features slightly redesigned headlamps, as well as a honeycomb grille and larger outer vents on the bumper. Around back, the single rear backup lamp has been integrated into the taillamps, which cleans up the car's back end rather nicely. Other cosmetic changes include the addition of two new metallic paint colors – Army Rock and Elusive Blue.
Moving inside, the xB's front seats have been given more bolstering for better overall comfort and support. Additionally, a new center console has been added that offers better storage solutions, as well as a sliding armrest, and the steering wheel now offers with both tilt and telescope adjustments (a simple feature that we wish were standard fare on every make and model).
Pricing for the new xB starts at $16,000 for the manual transmission model and $16,950 if you prefer a conventional automatic – increases of $150 over the 2010 car. The 2011 xB will make its way to a Scion dealer near you later this month.
