Hi guys!
I've looked around the site and couldn't seem to find what I need or I just couldn't understand but I recently installed some aftermarket fog lights on my 2012 xB, I installed them to the grill and connected the lights to the pre-wired fog lights. Thing is the swtich they provided is a 5 pin connection while I got a 4 (http://imgur.com/NyLQ3hr) I believe this is it because it was right where the fog light button should go. I've seen another post where it said the connection is where the shifter is

Those are the instructions on how to install them from the dealer. Hope it helps.

The ebay fog light kits come with a generic wiring kit. You CAN use it to wire up your fog lights, but you'd be bypassing all the stock wiring. It would be easier to just purchase the stock fog light switch which activates the fog light indicator on the dash. If your lucky, you can find a salvage yard in your area that has a 2012-2015 xb that has the switch still in it, and just purchase the switch.
