According to Motor Trend- xA and xB Carryover for 07'
Just got my new MotorTrend Mag and it shows the xA and xB are just caryover for 07'. So much for 3 model years and out.
At least we now know that there will be another years worth of xB's on the road.

no motor trend is WRONG the 06 xb's are the last year of the current xB.
the 06's will be sold till theyre gone wich should be early spring 07 . the 08's will come out late spring 07.

In my experience, Motor Trend is not exactly the most trustworthy source for accurate information. I think if Motor Trend were right about all of their wacky predictions, we would all be piloting "flying cars" by now.

Unleashing concept cars on the market
I just watched the video on Scion's concept cars - oh mercy me.
If the minutia was worked out, I wonder what would happen for Toyota if they unleashed those concept cars on the U.S. market.
I personally love the otherworldy, futuristic appearance of the T2B. It seems rather timid to me to take an xb, for example, and just round it off in a few places. I guess slow incremental change has less risk but, I'd shell out the money for the T2B if it got decent gas mileage and was deemed reliable - I love the blade runner space look.

I know this has already been discussed in several threads here, but as has been noted the xB (and xA) will remain 2006's until they run out of them, an extended production.
The replacment for the xB will be out sometime next year, again as noted ealry to late spring. It will be similar to the t2B, no real info though - anything you read is speculation - no word on engine(s), platform, nothing solid.
