Day one with fresh TRD parts installed

 

Looks good overall. Like the headlights! Get rid of that weird chrome lip on the wheels and it will look much nicer

Thanks. Yeah the polished groove in the rims suck. Wasn't my first choice but couldn't pass up the deal I got on the 18x8 MSR rims. I didn't get my winter rims on in time for a few snowfalls here and the salt ate into the polish piece causing it to chip away some if the paint which has been temporarily fixed but this winter the rims are going to be stripped and powerder coated with matte black including the polished groove.

Also want to take it lower probably with S. Techs. Going to finish the interior with black suede. I have an extra HID ballast and bulb that want to retro fit into the back up light. Still haven't done an exhaust yet so that will probably be next.

Are you guys saying that all black is best? As in no accents? Well, depending on taste, that surely could be true, but then, some might disagree. Ultimately, you have to decided what works best for you -- the owner!

 

Nobody is saying that all black is best, they're just replying to the fact that he referred to it as "murdered" in his thread title, and that traditionally means all black.

The TRD sway bar and springs were installed at the same time. So I can't tell which made a different. I've only driven a stock auto before that but it's a world of difference in the handling. I have never understeered the car only oversteered. For a box it feels pretty snug in the corners.

Everything underneath and in the fender wells is black besides the springs and sway bar. Only under the hood doesn't have all black. Even the all the little bolts and brackets visible from the lower grille is painted black lol

 

Sick build so far. Might be a good idea to get rid of OEM grille. I got my black one off eBay and its held up pretty well
