Default Thank you!

I want to send out a very BIG thank you to Ksport. They have put forth a huge donation to the Earnhardt Scion Car Show and Toy Drive. This show will benefit www.sunshineacres.org and www.childcrisis.org so come on down and join us for all the fun!

December 15th 4-9PM at the 60 freeway and Superstition Springs Blvd.

Remember....If you need aftermarket parts there's no better than Ksport!

I think they are about 2k MSRP

if I sold em it would probably be around $1300-1500 depending on pad choice

Those brakes are way overkill. I just want better pads and stainless steel lines. No need for heavy-___ big brakes.

believe it or not in about three weeks I will be posting pics of that xB on a Road course........where those brakes will come in handy to slow it down....over and over and over again

They look nice but IMO not needed. Some good pads and SS brake lines and your fine. Plus you could still probably get some nice wheels with it for the money you would spend on a big brake kit.

You are right, they are not needed...unless you have almost 300whp and you want to stop more than 2 times @ the road course..... Pads and lines will only take you so far.... its rotor size that helps with heat dissapation with its larger size. It allows for heat to be soaked up by the rotor before being transfered to the pads....then the lines/fluid. I have 13" rotors and six piston brakes on my Integra.....I NEVER HAVE A PROBLEM @ the road course

Also some people like the idea of a larger brake kit to fill out a larger wheel and tire package...in that case, while not needed mechanically( although they do help with the larger wheel mass and rotational inertia ), its looks a hell of a lot better than puny 10"-11" stockers behind 18/19/20 wheels

if u buy a box to pitch around a road course you have bigger issues than brake fade. True plus size wheels need more braking power but not 14" rotor six-piston power.

Why not run the box on a road course? I didn't buy it Ksport did, I think it would be fun to drive it. I remeber a track day @ Buttonwillow in Cali that I went to several years ago. The owners of Next Level Motoring were there in a new 1g xB runnning the roadcourse, they were having a blast. Thats the whole point right? Fun... whether its hardparking at a meet or show or driving on track..........

I don't want to keep going back and forth on this.....I already explained why bigger brakes are better.......

Most people who have them, use them them for the visual alone, not for racing.

the OP asked about aftermarket big brake kits.....I responded......
