Another look at 08's
As the owner of two 06 xB's, I have spent a bit of time in the 1st Gen Forum, but have never really been over to this forum to check you guys out. I have seen a lot of negativity about how 2nd Gens shouldn't be compared to the 04-06's. Maybe that's irrelevant...
Living in a state like Oregon where you'd think it was a law that every other vehicle on the road be a crew cab 4x4 (some owners will never use 4WD and probably couldn't tell you what 4-LO stands for anyway
), has made me rethink safety.
I looked at the 08's when they first came out and several times since. After a year and a half of Scion ownership, I now have a different opinion. Styling being subjective as it is, I think that the interior design and safety features are vast improvements. I'd hate to see a 1st Gen T boned (especially one of mine). When the time comes to replace one or both of our cars, the 2nd generation would be at the top of our list.
