Anyone with the DVD option?
Here is my thinking on the DVD?
I am going to use these with my 4 year old daughter and for business clients while we ride around. I would LOVE to have the DVD's with the warranty.
HOWEVER, I am seeing screens on the aftermarket for MUCH cheaper.
Any opinions?

You're speaking about the DVD Head-rest monitors, right? And not the Navi?
Here's the deal, you're going to find them loads cheaper than the Scion ones, for sure. But you have to balance that with how much you are willing to lose in a clean factory look, instalation costs, and warranty. I haven't priced the headrest monitors myself, but just want to give you some things to look out for.

having the Scion warranty to back them up is a great option. is like having 2 different head rest you can sinc them or use 2 different dvds they are really nice I highly recomend them. my kids love it.
I've played around with a dealer floor model that had the headrest monitors installed and those things were pretty nice. I personally liked how the monitor titled out and you simply pop the DVD straight into the monitor, making it so the two people in the back can watch what they want. Also, they looked really nice and clean with the Scion logo on it and the dealer install. I would say that it might be better to get the dealer option than doing it yourself and going through the hassle. Thats my opinion. Have fun with the new xB!
if you get navigation and the headrests can you play through the navi to the headrests?
I have little kids and they could not load and start dvd's on their own. If you had navigation and the headrests, could I load and start through the navi deck and play to the headrests?

^^ Negative Ghostrider. Well, I shouldn't say that so absolutely, but unless you have mad electronics skills, or know someone with said skills, then no.
The DVD will not play through the Navi, unless the car is in park, and the parking break is on, or you know someone like Ranode, with said mad skills. Oh, and you have to remove the $250 map DVD in order for you to do that in the first place anywho.

The Scion system is AMAZING. I hope to post some pictures soon.
Best part is that it fixes one of the few annoying features of the scion - the head rests. The originals are at an annoying angle.
The DVD headrests are adjustable in two directions.
