Default Bad wheel bearings

I took my xb2 in for some work done becuase of a weird noise coming from the rear wheels. The dealer said BOTH of my rear wheel bearings were bad which i thought was weird. He said might of been a defective batch. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Wheel bearings can become damaged from hitting potholes, curbs, telephone poles..a bad batch?? maybe the robot who built yours didnt get the bearings installed properly. either way its a warranty fix and if it wasn't *dOh*

Default wheels

I hear some rumbling in mine also. I have to get it to the dealer. I thought it was a tire imbalance, still could be.

This is for the previous 2 posters... er, rather, nos. 1 and 3....

Just wondering, how many miles on your xB until you noticed this problem, and what sort of daily driving do you do?

Thanks
