Has anybody changed their brakes yet? if so how many miles did you have on your car and where did you get the pads?

 

well, on my tC, the stock brakes lasted about 30 thousand miles. it is all in how you drive, how much weight you drive with, how much braking you do while rolling down a hill etc.

where to get pads? tirerack.com is a good place. or try something like EBC green stuff or hawk pads. depends on what kinda driving you have in mind. oh, and the stop tech staged upgrades are nice.

 

I had squeaking on my brakes around 13,500 miles. I don't drive crazy or anything either so I took it to the dealership and they replaced the rotors and pads.
