Get some Stoner's bug and tar remover---and some Stoner's Invisible Glass while you are at it--both products work great............

Well I tried bug and tar remover and it dident work,I also tried buffing and it dident work, so then I tried a harsher product, brake cleaner, I know its bad on the paint but it always does miricles for me, sad to say it dident work, somehow the bug guts are under the clear coat of the paint and are permanently there, so a word to the wise poeple if you have bug guts that are fresh wipe them off ASAP.

WD-40... it will take anything off. I use it to remove bug guts, old sticker glue. Works for me.

Stoner's Invisible Glass is the best glass cleaner. It's aerosol, not pump spray. As far as the bug guts, a terry cloth towel drenched in hot water, place it over the bug guts for about 30 seconds to one minute to soften those buggers. Then they should wipe right off.

You can also try Mcguiar's ScratchX if the stupid dead bug has left some etchings on the paint. Just use a foam pad and rub it. A few passes removed it for me. Be sure to wax it afterwards.

Bird poop buffs right out with a decent polish.

I started to take some of the bugs off the front of mine, but then I realized we are mid-way into love-bug season.

bugs are... bugging me too. just one drive after washing the car and i swear I'll hit like a cicada or something. Every time. Small bugs are ok, it's the one that leave 1" long splatters that ____ me off.

Here in FL we get junebugs every summer, and their shells are HARD. It sounds like Dirty Harry taking potshots at your windshield. Makes you want to duck and cover and takes forever to come off...

Sounds like the bugs were either really acidic and acted fast or they might have been on there awhile?? In either case if you are unable to feel the bugs on the top of the paint then they are more than likely etched in your paint like an egg would be. I would recommend taking it to a professional detailer to see if they can wetsand the marks out of the paint.

Couple of things that will help with bug guts

Wash regular of course
Keep wax on the front end as much as you can. Helps keep a barrier built up from the bugs and substance you see on the road since the front ened hits everything and has the most prown area for damage
Clear bras help greatly with bugs. Even if it gets marked from a bug it will bleach out and go away ina few weeks.

Products like Stoners and Tarminator are great to use in a pinch.

Brake Cleaner, wd-40 are not. While they seem to be dry on the surface of the paint they can absorb thru the clear coat and flash the paint. That is not good. Flashing makes you paint all dull and look ruined if it happens. Especially with a lot of heat involved. IE hot hoods from engines and of course AZ

May I add a clay bar to these suggestions? A clay bar will do the same thing as wet sanding, it's just not as drastic. I recommend a good clay bar at least once every 3-6 months.
