Is it just me or is clubxb filled with a bunch of kids? One user said an Xb2 can not make a vip car and another said that vip cars are never white. I am sorry but this has been bugging me forever. They call their Xb1's VIP all day long but last I checked, vip style cars dont have drum brakes. Am I the only one that does not enjoy that forum?

 

Lol, an xB(any generation) will never be a true VIP platform, that's why when it's done up that way it's "VIP style". Just visit VIPstylecars regarding this. Regarding colors, IDK, I myself don't see anything wrong with white, though I favor silver and black. Even then, you're going for the style, and think white will make it classy. I've seen other posts of the board and haven't heard much positive, IDK.

 

Its a Scion for crying out loud. A true Vip would be a Merc, BMW, or even lexus. I dare not get into the more expensive saloons.
As far as color, anything goes. My personal favorites are gold or white. If someone rolls up in a white Phantom would you laugh as say "Thats not VIP since its white.". If you did I would question your intellect.
You are right though. The vip style does give the xb a classy look. Its not a sports car so I dont see the point of doing anything else besides comfort mods. That is just me though.

Lastly, they dare claim to be the "Number one" Xb forum. The members here on scionlife are well mannered and far more mature in my opinion.

Again, I apologize. However I find their tact rather unruling.

 

just wanna chime in. a true vip has to have the platform i.e. ls, gs, celsior, aristo, fuga, cima, and on. then you have to go low and wide. as for colors, the yakuzas prefered white or black sedans in the beginning. the xB's or any other cars can be VIP-inspired with same styling but will never be a true VIP. this has been debated so many times.

Xb1 owners hate the xb2. Its the same here but some have grown to like it and appreciate what it has to offer (like being rated one of the safest cars in its class).

 

Neek's ride, Papos before he sold his coils and rims, Vincent's would be vip style too, Marshall's would be Vip style also, and then there is also charle's, there are a few more but i can't remember at the top of my head, of course a scion will never be true vip but you can still give it that Vip look.

 

It's a bulletin board not real life don't worry about it.

There are imature people on both boards and many good members are on both boards. Everyone has there opinion and some people don't self edit too well when typing behind a keyboard.

 

Right there! xB1 owners feel Toyota hood-winked them by not bringing the next gen dB here.

 

Scion's are NOT VIP. Period. As already stated, true VIP enthusiasts stick to the platforms.

That's why I bought a Y33... Love that car.

 

I had a different opinion on clubxb. IMO they're older and a bit of purists. There seems to be a set style that is frowned upon when deviated from (predominantly 1gen, lowered, expensive rims, tasteful body mods, almost no power mods outside of IHE). Again, just my opinion. Don't limit yourself to a certain theme or style, mod what you think looks, sounds, or performs good and don't worry about it. Just stay out of the Pep Boys aisle, you know the one.

Clubxb has gotten better in recent times. I suggest giving it another look. It's my favorite forum.
