Default Decisions on what route to go...

So I'm using my income tax money to do some mods/upgrades on the my xb2 (gotta spice up the love life with me and my ride lol) and there are two routes I'm deciding to go.

Option 1:
5 axis lip kit and paint

Option 2:
rear bumper protector
rear oem spoiler
trd strut bar
oem upper grille upgrade (will paint black)
wheel locks
cargo net with pockets
auto dimming mirror
trd brake pads
trd oil cap
trd short shifter

Both options are close in price and I'll be ordering from trdsparks.com. I'd like to get opinions from everyone, both would do wonders on the ride in different ways.

5 Axis Bro! No question. Once that is done save up for the QuickShifter, the BEST mod that can be done to any ride.

Everything else is just... Meh!

Yeah the only thing I'm not too crazy about on the 5 axis lip kit is the side skirts. They are not aggressive enough for my taste (compared to the rs5 kenstyle side skirts). I still have 2 weeks to decide until I get my refund though lol.

If anyone can post a Nautical Blue Metallic xb2 with the 5 axis lip kit I would greatly appreciate it!

To each his own, I have only installed oem/trd parts on my vehicle since new. I doubt I'll ever put aftermarket parts on it (except a turbo kit years from now lol).

"Tax refund" should be a very small amount. Don't let the government "hold" your money for you. Adjust your witholding status so that you aim to break even each year and "Hold" that money in your own savings account.

Other than that - option 1.

Option 1:
  • 5 axis lip kit and paint - My favorite thing on my ride.

Option 2:
  • rear bumper protector - I have this, but looks better without it.
  • rear oem spoiler - I have this, but looks better without it. Going to replace it with the Rumion one since the holes are the same
  • trd strut bar - I have this, not really worth the money.
  • oem upper grille upgrade (will paint black) - stock looks way better
  • wheel locks - I refuse to buy wheel locks ever... that's why I pay insurance
  • cargo net with pockets - I have this... mostly gets in the way during Costco runs.
  • auto dimming mirror - This is probably worth it.
  • trd brake pads - Nothing wrong with the OEMs (quiet, little dust, brakes good).
  • trd oil cap - I had this. Waste of money and it's 10x easier to tighten and unloose the stock one.
  • trd short shifter - no comment cuz I have an auto.

5 Axis definately. the rest are all lower cost, and can be done a little at a time. the kit is a big up front cost..

Thanks everyone for the comments. Still on the fence, but I starting to lean a lot closer towards option 1 possibly.

Hold on - a 5 axis kit without a spoiler?

If you go with option 1, you better add that spoiler to it, too.

Thank you for considering us to purchase your items and I voted on option 1.
