Default Do Not Buy!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for hood dampers do not get them from vehicleimprovements on ebay they do not work and will bend your hood and they are threatening me to take my negative feed back off. So if you know any one that is looking for them look for another company and make sure they are not atlas brand.

#1 - buy a dedicated digital camera. The cell phone pics on your profile make it hard to see the interior.

#2 - Also avoid the Godspeed hood dampers, they did the same thing on the '04 - '06 xB.

#3 - Bug Redline Tuning to make a set for the '08 xB. It's not listed yet for the '08, maybe you can get them to sponsor you in exchange for using yours as a prototype.

I've already helped Redline Tuning get a new volunteer/donor car through ScionLife. The QuickLIFTs should be available soon. Here's the thread:

I also PM'd AMAN to check on the status.

I bought these too, and they do not fit right. I complained, and spent $20 to send them back. They claimed the parts never arrived, and broke off contact. When I gave negative feedback, they threatened to give me negative if I did not remove the feedback. They also said they would refund the money if I took back the feedback. I took it off, and never heard from them again. I am doing a chargeback on my CC and contacting ebay.

This is why people see mainly positive feedback on eBay.

If you are dissatisfied, a seller can hold your refund hostage, to get you to remove the negative feedback. Great system they got there.

You need to keep records of all this, and forward it to eBay, along with a formal complaint to eBay of harassment by the seller. eBay will not tolerate this, and will likely assist you in getting your refund if the seller wants to keep their status as an eBay retailer.

contact ebay, also did you pay with paypal?if you did file a complaint with paypal. The more parties you get against that seller, the more they have to respond. SO file complaints with your CC, paypal (if applicable), and ebay

i bought them and had the same problem with the hood not closing right and the gap on the drivers side being lifted 1/4". i just took them off and have no problems. it sucks that people that sell on ebay pull crap like that. i've only bought thru a couple of people/places that leave a feedback based on how fast you payed prior to your feedback. THAT is what its all about. you did your part... they need to do theirs!!!

btw... anyone want to buy my defective dampers???

Just a word of advise...Whenever I buy from eBay I always inspect the item and install it and see how everything works before leaving feedback. That way you can work out the details with the seller. Once you get your refund then leave a negitive or positive. You should never leave a neg- feedback and then ask for refund. Not saying your at fault for junk or bad item...it does happen. But just don't jump into leaving feedback untill you get everything straight. You will find working things out first gets more done. I have had several items I got refunded and then left pos+ for working it out. Alot of sellers depend on there feedback to sell, thats how they make there money. When you give them a bad feedback they get angry. I buy alot from eBay and I have always done good on returns and getting money back - shipping of course. Just my thought on it.

Update:

The CC company sided with me and charged back the whole amount. I am waiting to see what Vehicleimprovements has to say, it opened a "dispute" on paypal. Paypal better not pull any BS and try to get the money from me.
