08 NBM 5spd but yea wtf needs a cruising gear or an overdrive, with the exhaust cruising at 3krpm is drone central.

 

my auto sits at 3k @80mph....and is crazy quiet. Of course, I left my scuba in to keep drone from being an issue :D.

 

I got a auto, I was getting a stick but the night before I was going to go test drive and buy in the morning the guy sold it.. I was ____ed as I wanted a crimson mica and it was the only one I could find within 2 hours at the time. Well after he called me my wife and I were in the middle of dinner and she said you wanna go to the dealer up the street and see if they have a white with a stick (my backup choice)? I said ya, so we left and they had a crimson with auto... I needed a car badly since I had sold my honda a month before that.

Overall I'm glad because my car has become the family car and Ill just have to wait for stick til I have a toy car someday

 

started out at 15yo with manual and never looked back... i just love the feeling of flying through the gears in my hands & feeling the control. i've tried an auto before (rental) and just didn't like not being able to feel the gears and the fun of shifting up & down in my hands!!

 

Mine's an automatic.

 

sooo...just picked up an 08 xb manual transmission...for $75 bucks off an older mechanic who had no idea what he had.

Can't decide whether I should sell it...orr...tear it apart, change the final drive ratio, and buy all the necessary parts to install it, then have an xb - type arrgh!
