Springs=rough and I don't want to sacrafice that nice ride.
Not so if you do it right. I dropped mine about an inch and a half but they were good quality springs and they were progressively wound and it actually improved the ride.
The thing that really kills it are really low profile tires-like 40 or 35 if they are of a smaller size like 215 or less. It adds a lot of road noise, sharp feelings to bumps, etc and the ride just gets rough.

Do not assume that a picture can show you everything. Those LEDs in my license plates are bright white, there is aboslutely not blue in person, however the camera is displaying blue.
When looking at my license plate during the day or even at night, you will have o problem viewing the lettering. Having an open, regular license plate on such a clean car makes me shiver. But thats is just my tastes I suppose.
Those covers are not illegal if there is proper illumination, and I assure you there is. Its really not all that dark in person is what I am trying to say.

You may feel the stock springs feel OK, and would be the best ride because they are the highest, but it's not true at all. The stock springs are linear, and don't absorb small bumps well at all; additionally they ride so high that they don't handle worth a **** either. You need to get a set of Tanabe NF210's; since I put them on and posted this thread more than a dozen happy xB owners have done the same thing, and wouldn't go back to stock if you paid them. Very nice thread CIONIDE. Those might be in my near future after my Sirius Radio and some interior lighting.
I was told that adding aftermarket performance springs will almost eliminate body roll. I know my xB has a lot of sway in turns and I want to get rid of that without having to get a strut and sway bars. Will springs accomplish this for me?

The Tanabe NF210 springs will do a great deal toward a better ride and better handling, but in addition to limiting that last little bit of body roll,
the TRD rear sway bar will also contribute to more neutral handling (less front end push) due to understeer.
BTW, Sirius radio will give you something you don't already have, but I'd do the springs from a performance stand point,
before changing the color of my interior lighting. That's just me though; I prefer my $$ to go toward performance before aesthetics.

Eibach pro kit rides good, there SportLine are kinda rough. Tanabe springs feel almost like factory, the lower you go the harsher the ride. Also matching ur springs, shocks and struts really helps. I drive on tanabe and eibach everyday in comfort, its all about setup.
Performance: been there, done that. Im more into a nice ride now and a little show. I had a Ram 1500 HEMI before this car. I swapped the cam, juiced it, all the good stuff. Now, I just want to ride and get above 20MPG haha.
Anyways, I am paying for my Sirius account every month and am never using it, so I want to get that done.
I think I might just swap the springs and be happy and MAYBE an eBay strut bar to even things out.
Thanks for the kind remarks.
