hi, i test drove the new 2008 xb last week.

the drive is very nice. and love the interior and upgrades.

but i forgot to see if the front seats fold down. do they fold all the way down to make use of more space for say- hauling lumber?

 

they don't go flat like the 1st gen but pretty close. I have been in one while transporting lumber.

If you look at the pics I put there, you can see that you need to put the front seatback down first to get the best arrangement.

You can get a few 8 foot 2x4's in the gen2 and shut the hatch btw.
