thats a sweet idea. which i should do.

i just know nothing on doing that. Like lets say i remove all the wiring harnesses. so now im wiht bare wires taps.i would run all the left side door wiring. front and rear.and splice it all together at one point. and then run that to the amp? if you know of a diy on this or maybe a step by step desccription id be so happy

Issue #1: Wrong tools; I didn't see a butter knife anywhere in that video.

Issue #2: No guidance; I didn't see your Hello Kitty helper.

Dropped on NF springs I have 11" b/w the rear tow hook and the ground. I'd say go with the 5" so that you can hang it from a noose w/o it resting on the ground. People will also walk up closer to your xB at shows to check out what you have hanging back there.

Frozone,

1st re-run your power wire.

You do not want it coming out the door grommet like that as you will leak water in through the slit you made and eventually have problems. Your going to need to run it through the grommet in the firewall just above the accelerator. You can unbolt the accelerator for better access.

2nd how to hook up your speaker lines.

The fronts are easy. You can run new lines from the amp, under the running boards, and through the grommets into the doors. At that point it's just a matter of hooking up positive to positive and negative to negative.

As for the rears it's a little more complex as there is a molded molex plug that you will have to drill through and run the lines through.

In your case though I would recommend that you do not hook the rear speakers to the amp. Your amp is only stable to a 2 ohm load on each channel and the Infinity Reference series of spekaers are 2.7 ohm speakers. It's what helps make them sound so much louder with a stock stereo. Unfortunately hooking up a second set of speakers with them will drop the resistance below 2 ohm and cause your amp to heat up too much.

Two 10mm bolts on the base and unplug the harness, nothing to it.

If you are running new lines then for the tweeters you just run the positive to the speaker positive and negative to speaker negative.

I ran just under 40 feet of speaker wire for the front doors from the rear of the hatch. That was somewhat long but I wanted the extra slack incase I had measured wrong. Leave the other wires there, you'll need them for the door lock and power windows. As for fixing the slit I would use some good pliable black electrical tape, it will be the least noticable. If it isn't too big you might be able to re-seal it with some black silicone.

so anthther thing. i moved my amp to above the spare tire. but now when i turn the amp on or off (wiht the car on or off) the sub pops. im not sure why. maybe the wires are two close now?

also with that infinty tweet, should i use that crossover thing as well that it came with? and i think i might need a pound of lube to get that speaker wire through the grommet in the door.

You need to use the crossover with the tweeters, or you'll be buying new ones in short order.
