That little flap thing in the filler neck hole when you go to fill the car...

Anyone one else lost theirs??? I assume it's in the tank, just like the one on our Honda Accord.

Wonder what makes them fall off???

You sure it had one? I have a Gen 1 and a Gen 2, neither of them had it.

Hmmm, now I'm not sure. The wife usually fills it as it's her car, see picture on left for what I normally drive. I certainly wasn't planning on taking it apart to see if it should be there.
Well, if that's the case, then the car is perfect again - no maintenance issues whatsoever. Even consumer reports noted that.
