Default HELP! Trying to install HID kit from MobileHID.com

Hello everyone.

I've had my HID kit from MobileHID.com for some time now.
I didn't have the time to install them yet.
Last Saturday, I finally had some time so I went down to my car, popped the hood thinking "I can do this!"

Unfortunately, I am not too good with working with cars especially under the hood. The only thing I've done is replacing a burned-out bulb on my first car, then checking to see if I have oil. Oh, I've also filled the washer fluid but that's about it.

Looked at the manual that it came with. Then also looked at the MobileHID.com support page. The instructions are very generic and I don't know what to do with my ballasts. I changed the bulbs, then I was stuck there for hours. Then finally gave up.

Can somebody help out a newbie here and tell me what the best place is to mount the ballasts? Also, how should they be mounted? I guess it's up to me but for those of you with experience, please explain where the ballasts should be mounted. They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words. Please include a picture (both ballasts) if you have it available.

Thank you!

* My '09 Super White *

You're absolutely right. They are XXR 507s.
Dealer-installed. Paid like $2800 extra for them.
Checked on eBay and they are like $500.
(____ed me off but oh well... too late now.)

The car would definitely look better dropped but I've had enough of doing an S every time I go over a speed bump. Had enough of dealing with low cars. Definitely looks better but I'm going to sacrifice the look this time for a little more convenience.

Definitely thought about it though...

With the Tanabe NF210's, I haven't had the problems people associate with cars dropped really low at all. They're worth a look:

Well, another reason (and probably the main reason) I didn't drop this one was because I don't want to argue with the wife over it or spend weeks after weeks trying to convince her why I need to drop it. For those of you that are married and the women in your life lets you do whatever you want, take my word and take care of her. You're very lucky and blessed. LOL

I understand what you're saying about the consideration of other's viewpoints; and if she doesn't look upon ride comfort and safety as benefits, then I wouldn't suggest it to her either.

Scion of Riverside is making some serious bank off of some cheap wheels..
Thats a big negative in my book..
