How far have you gone on 1 tank of gas?

Anyone tried drafting behind semi trucks? With that lessoning the wind resistance factor, I was getting 39-40mpg average for about 15 miles going 64-66mph.
My patience dropped faster than my Prius-like enthusiasm grew, so I went back to my normal 70-80mph, 26-28mpg ways.

356.2 on my last tank it took 11.03 gallons for 32 MPG.
I drive from Tacoma to Seattle and back every day and there is NO flat land between here and there except when I cross the floating bridge to Mercer Island where the office is. With it being winter, I suspect I can get closer to 35 in the summer. I was getting 62.5 out of my 2006 Civic Hybrid (EPA rates at 48 mpg) so I should be able to get more out of this thing.
Tricks I use for going further
Drafting
Turn car off at lights and time the lights to know when to start it back up.
Finally, I drop it in nuetral and turn it off down steep enough hills. If you put the key back into the ACC position, you get your power steering back as it is boosted via electric motor. The brakes are still fine but you do loose the power boost. I also have a 65 Mustang with manual drum brakes so not having a brake booster is no big deal to me.

IMO hyper-mileage isn't worth the risk, in case you need immediate response of acceleration or power brakes in an emergency. I enjoy your postings, but sincerely hope you never encounter a situation that puts you or anybody else in danger. And let me know when you're in Napa, so that I can be the one that drives when we go out for a beverage.

1)Do you wait for the low fuel light to come on? You still have more than 2 gallons in the tank when it does.
2) Do you drive mostly around the city? You need a lot of freeway driving to break 300 miles on a tank of gas.
3) Do you have a heavy foot? The xB rewards those with a lighter touch with much better fuel economy.
