At first I really liked this new Xb, but the more I look it does not give me the same feeling that my first gen did. Plus I like unique looking cars so I will be waiting to see what the redesign of the Cube will look like, because that will have a JDM cousin when Nissan redesigns for 09. Or I will be looking for a high mileage first gen or a Previa so I can have a unique looking car.

lready gotten rid of my 03 I am waiting for the call from my dealer, on when I can give him my deposit. God I love micro vans.Ok to add to this story. I purchased the first XB that they sold. So I was asked if I wanted the first new XB they sell. So after much thought I have decided to get back into a Scion. I can't wait I have already started to contact some of my past sponsers and some new ones to see if they want in on round two.

same story for me... bought the first one they sold, and the dealer today was telling me aboiut it and said i should be ther first one again for the next gen... kinda funny....

 

Thats just a salesman trying to make a sale.

 

actually Grant, he was the one of the very first individuals to own the xB i know in CA..

not the very, very first i don't think... there's one guy that has a personalized license plate that mentions him being so.. and it's been verfied true.

I understand that. All I am saying is all car salesmen act like you are there best friend and always will untill you quit buying from them. I am not doubting that the Xb and the replacement just the salesman's motive

 

perhaps the salesman was simply "joking around"

i take offense when people make blanket statements about salespeople, as i am one myself. for the record, i am also against blanket statements about lawyers, homosexuals, any race of people, poor people, people from small towns, cats, dogs, people who brush their teeth too much, and women who look like rossanne baar . . . ;)

oh, and i bet the original post meant to say that he was the first one to be sold at the particular dealer he went to. not the first one ever, lol.

 

Well since I ordered my first XB when they signed there dealer aggreement and I am personal friends with the owners of the dealer ship It is not some statement from a saleman. but thank you for the concern.

Trung: the box was over 120k close to 130 it has been gone for about three months now. There where just a hand full of guys who got theres before me, some where at spy being done before the 9th of june03. Mine got to dealer on the friday before, I put a 100 miles on it before I drove it off the lot on the 9th. Cant wait to get back out to some meets, or to SO CAL to hang out with my Scion FAMILY SE!!!!

 

Oh yeah! Another Bill project coming up! Just don't drop any caustic chemicals in this enclosure!
