And by the way he said a check would be fine. But that's not the issue --- he is in possession of $430 of my money anf I have nothing . It's beyond me how anyone can say it's ok to take someones money and send nothing back that they paid for. There's a word for that. If Phil can respond here why can't he communicate with me ?? Here is another request for you Phil to contact me. I would welcome that.

i didnt sell him the wheels as part of the store inventory. its my personal set off my xb, and ive been listing them on various scion forums of over 6 months. maybe your motorcycle store takes checks, but believe many stores dont, because of many many scams out there and forged checks etc.
i responded on newscionxb already and im not going to retype it all. if you want read more about it, go to that forum.
400 bucks wont even pay the labor on the installation of my BBK.. maybe enough to cover 3 weeks of gas for me. im not trying to rip him off for 400 bucks. i dont have the wheels and he doesnt have the wheels. obviously the got lost between the shop and dhl. either dhl lost them or my friend took them. im meeting with a special investigator from dhl on monday as stated on the other forum.
why does everyone has to get into everyone else's business? whatever

YES I dont give a crap... i said in the other post that i trust my friend and his shop is very reputable so i was saying i dont think he took them and most likely lost @ DHL. And you think after all this time it didnt occur to me to ask him.. duh. Its pretty much remedied so please mind your own business.

All I have to say is that Karma is real and this will surely come back and bite you in the ___.
Phil had an excellent rep on the New Scion site and I was in a time crunch so yes I took a chance purely on his site rep. He says that this will be resolved by next Thursday so at this point I will trust that it will be. I very much appreciate all the concerned responses from members on this board and I hope that by next Thursday all of this becomes history.

You need to call the Foster City police dept. This would fall under internet and/or mail fraud I'm sure. You've been a hell of a lot more patient than I would have been. 430 might be "gas money" for ScionScene/Phil Wong/CarbonPhiber, but it's alot of money for my family.
Good luck Fly.
Good luck Fly.
I just read every post in this thread and the whole situation is beyond ridiculous.
1. Whether or not Phil "usually" doesn't accept checks is so besides the point since he apparently had no problem accepting one this time or taking this guys money once he cashed it.
2. It's your responsibility as the seller of anything to ensure that the buyer/customer receives the product that you sold. So, if in fact Phil is on the up and up then he should be taking care of this and not, at least in the beginning, saying that flyviper needed to figure it out himself. It doesn't matter if the problem is DHL or the friend/middleman he had take care of the shipping. You are the seller. You fix the problem period. Otherwise, the customer is refunded. That's good business (I've had my own business for several years).
3. Since Phil seems to be so aggravated that it's gotten to this point, then maybe the next time he'll choose to handle his responsibility a little better and not get frustrated with other people for a situation that clearly escalated from his own non-action/response (How can anyone claim no fault when they won't even answer someone's calls or return them?)
You stay may have some recourse through your bank if you explain the situation to them. Although, he would still get to keep the money also which is not exactly okay.

The topic on NSxB has the most current info - wheels should be delivered tomorrow, according to UPS.

Wheels arrived. Each wheel in its own box and absolutely no packing material to protect them. None. They're all scratched, one is gouged. Two of the boxes had broken wide open. With no inside packing material to keep the sides of the boxes from collapsing the boxes were just crushed from the normal wear and tear of shipping.
