Default Insurance question and OEM performance parts

So I've upgraded to TRD struts/shocks, rear sway bar, and the 17" oem wheels.

Are these covered under a normal insurance policy? They're technically still OEM parts... Or would I have to take out additional coverage like if you would have aftermarket parts (ex. turbo kit, aftermarket wheels, etc.)?

Different companies treat add-ons differently. I know that with my State Farm full coverage policy, I have a $1000 allowance for parts that were put on after the purchase contract. If I had $3000 wheels, only the first $1000 would be covered under my standard policy. Since I don't have that problem, I haven't asked if additional coverage is available, or how much it would cost.*

CIONIDE, I just reviewed my policy and I'm wondering if this has something to do with it.

ORIGINAL COST OF CUSTOMIZATION NONE OR UP TO $500.

I'm not too worried about it, really just curious if it applies as aftermarket or OEM. If anything ever happened to my vehicle (like if it was totaled *knock on wood*) I'd just put the stock stuff back on.

Yea, that's the clause I was talking about, but mine says $1000. The time it becomes really important is when you have a lot of $$ into mods, and your car gets stolen (or even just expensive wheels getting jacked).
