Go to Itunes.....Preferences......Playback.......Make sure you un-check soundcheck...soundenhancer is ok.....Now........Go to your playists one at a time.....SelectAll.......Right -click get info...click options.....There you find volume adjust....I did 50%......Do this to every playlist.....Ok now hook-up your Ipod.and Sync......Your Ipod volume will increase alot.......BE VERY AWARE OF THIS Now make sure that soundcheck is off on your Ipod.....I put volume up all the way....My volume on my 60s music is much better......Your controls on Ipod do matter............I had repeat-all by mistake and it did just that Kept repeating...........Had to do that reset.......Keeps going to repeat-all..

why not just let the IPOD play and select the tuns from the XB's stereo?
thats all I have to do and skip doing all that.. well didn't read it all but yeah thats what I did and works great..
