Default limp mode help!!!

Got into my 2009 (23,000 miles on it) yesterday morning, it was dead... no lights, no stutter, nothing.
Had the husband jump the battery, everything came on like a charm. Noticed my front dome lights were on and so was my windshield wipers. My kids got inside my vehicle and pushed bottons and what not.
My check engine light was on, so was my traction control, and my VSC off was flashing the entire time.
Shifted the car into gear R, then D and each time it was shifting hard. Started to drive when i noticed i had no power to my gas pedal, the RPMs went nowhere. Engine made no reving up sound. The fastest it went was 21mph. Limping along of course. Pulled into a gas station to put gas into it, thinking that was the problem... turned it off and BOOM, it was dead again.
Jumped the battery again and made it to my dealership whom had to sublet it out to Toyota, they coudnt get a diagnostics read on it. So for now, its sitting at the toyota dealership until monday or whenever they can get around to it because it wasnt by appointment. UGH!!!
Can anyone give me an insight to whats going on with my car??

Haven't had that on the Scion, but my Sonata goes into a limp mode like that when the battery dies. Ive had two failed batteries, and itll crank, but you can floor it and it might do 10mph around the neighborhood. It was the weirdest thing ever the first time it happened.

Yea this is a first for me too. I stepped on the gas, all the way to the floor and nothing. It really sucked at stop lights and stop signs when taking off.

have you tried leaving a battery charger on it over night on a low amp setting charge?

that might fix it

Might have blown the fuse to the throttle when you jumped it.
