maint. light

hey i changed the oil on my wifes 08 xb. the maint. light is on how do i reset it?

Before you turn the car to the on position, press and hold your ODO stem in, you will want to make sure it is on the ODO setting and not one of your Trips, While your ODO stem is pressed in, turn the key to the "ON" position, once your instrument panel comes on, you will see your mileage display will have four dashes and no numbers, wait for the dashes to dissapear and then the mileage will appear. That's it. You may turn the key off and back on to make sure, but that's all you do.

Umm, no. Actually for the '08 xB it needs to be on Trip A before you push & hold the ODO button when starting the engine. (See page 99, as mentioned above.)

This from a Super Mod, and a Scion employee!?!
