What is weird is the xB2 doesn't actually have a tray that slides out like on the xB1 or tC, On the xB2 the filter just slides into the slot,

I replaced mine with DIY from a filter I got from Home Depot......also did my friend's Prius. The Prius also has the tray.

After less than 3K miles, my filter was pretty dirty.

done cept i usedthe 1200 cause wallyword didn't have the 1250. we wil see what happens. i basically just put a naked filter in. no backing. except the wire stuff on the bottom we'll see what happens.

Hmmm ... I will definitely have to try this out the next time my filter gets dirty. Thanks for the good info guys, hope that DIY posted earlier helps too
