miketf1 progress thread. air setup finished pg7
looks awsome man! loving the color, stance and over all look of your ride man! With those work wheels it just sets off this build.. Like i always tell my customers its all about the wheels and fitment.
some advice for your air.. I have 3/8 lines in mines.. to slow it down i use throttle valves to limit flow to bags.. guys think i have 1/4 lines but it lifts a little faster than 1/4 plus i had more control over the front and rear as the front wold drop faster thant he rears.. it drops evenly. one hit of my switch an im at my drive hight but its a smooth motion.
I noticed your front lines.. the best way of running those is to follow the brake lines.. just tie strap it with the brake lines. The reason for that is the brake lines are ran so that it wont rub anything or get cuaght.
Those push on fittings replace them with compression DOT type fittings, those push on type are more exspendsive and they will leak in time.. there easier to use but from expriance i never used those push ons on any of my installs.

^^ this man knows his shiz.
he installed my airrunner kit that he modified to make much better about 10 months ago on my daily driver at about 32 mile round trip 5-6 days a week and never had one issue. clean install, dependable, and pretty decent ride. marshalls da man

the air works perfectly now.. no leaks, no jumping. i dont use the 200psi pressure switch any more. thats just too much on these short shocks. i just watch my dakota digital and tank-up to about 120psi and im all good.
teaser for the next set of wheels.. if all goes well, stay tuned for sunday.
