Its too blue & your visibility will be worse than your stock halogen. I have 5000k and its more than enough blue & I'm actually debating going with 4300k to get a more pure white color for better visibility.

 

You won't blind people with HIDs if they are adjusted properly. I have installed MobileHID 4300k's. Great lighting and no one has ever flashed me b/c my lights blinded them. Much whiter than OEMs. Go for it! I think 8000k's would reduce your output significantly. You can compare the differences on the web. Good luck!

Just FYI for those of you who are considering more and more blue lights. The human eye is sensitive more to green/yellow, and weaker in the blue/purple area. The more blue you go, the less *you* are going to be able to see.

my highbeams are i think 6000k color there not a hid though there xenon im pritty sure

 

(stock) when we turn our highbeams on do the low's stay on or do they turn off and highs take over?? idk really wanna get hids for both..

Truthfully, I think it does cut down on some visibility. But I like the color.

I think it's better because it's HID. All the street signs and everything reflective POPS. It's like someone went and turned all the street signs on.

This is the HID kit we got from Spyder Auto, easy as ever to install, simple plug and play! Our headlight projectors have pretty good cut off even better than my old IS300.

 

so basically if we kept our stock hi beams on and using the HID 4300k for regluar beam... When we turn on our Hi beams they pretty much wont make a diff? am i right?

 

You'll see the difference, the hi beams usually project light further out so you can see past the cut off of the low beams.

 

Not always farther, but typically there is no cutoff on high beams to allow you to see signs and surroundings better. If they allow you to see farther, it's typically because of more power behind them.

i think it is because i put my 8000k's in yesterday and it looks quite the same
