Default New here; 08 xB BSP

Morning all - new (used) xB owner as of yesterday here!

I was looking for something cheaper and more efficient than the Jeep I was driving... At first I was a bit saddened having to look for an econo-box, but I really dig the xB (cross-shopped stuff like the Element, the Fit, the Soul, etc). And I am even more into it now that I've seen some people take it in a retro-hotrod direction! I'm in my 30s, grew up on Hot Rod magazine, and have owned stuff like a Chevy SSR and a couple Corvettes. I love cars - I especially love weird cars and mean-looking cars. I think the B is a little of both, and it makes me grin like a madman. Makes my wallet happy too.

Now, to look into an 8-ball shifter, some Early Wheels, and some wood and aluminum strips for the cargo deck OK, maybe my wallet won't be all that happy for long.

Cheers

Oh yes, that exactly is my inspiration for the cargo floor. I PMed him for tips but he's not around much recently, apparently. I'd love to do it all the way up the back seats too for continuity when they're folded down.

TrevorS - oh yeah, my brain is cooking. Just have to get my bank account, hands, and tools cooking too.
