Default New to Scion...

Hey everyone...

I am jsut starting to look to pick up my first xb. I work right across the street from the local toyota dealer and stopped in to check out and XB that will be replacing my 02 tahoe. It was raining and late, so didnt get to test drive it, but will go back on Sunday or Monday.

A couple of questions....

My wife and I have a baby on the way, how does a rear facing car seat fit in the back?
How about a stroller in the trunk area?

Also, the salesman said that scions price is set by toyota and there is no haggeling on the price, is this true?

My wife drives an IS250, so the XB looks like a good fit for us with the amount of room.

Thanks for any help, and I will be crusing around these forums to get some more ideas.

How about a stroller in the trunk area? I've had 4 sets of golf clubs in the far back (with the back seats up), so I'm guessing a stroller will fit fine. You can also drop the small side of the split row second seat for added storage, even with a baby seat in the center of back seats.

Test drive it, pick a color, and drive it home.

I love my xB more and more each day. I'm not really impressed with the cargo room with the seats up. I wish there was a few more inches worth of cargo room but I wouldn't want the xB to be any longer than it is. The only reason it is a problem for me is that I don't think there is quite enough room for 2 large suitcases to be stacked without putting the seats down. I could always use a large dufflebag for a short trip, but it would be nice to be able to slide the rear seat forward a couple of inches.

Thanks guys...

I was very surprised at the amount of room i had and I am a big guy... 6'4" 220lbs.

Guess the next thing i have to deal with is my trade value, and they are going to kill me with that i bet.

Most likely. I've heard some dealerships won't even take a gas guzzling truck/suv.
