Default New To ScionLife.com With my All New 2008 Scion xB

Just Got my 2008 Scion xB Auto in Super White With Black Leather. This is My First New Car Ever and IM very happy with my choice. First Swop I did was replace the Stock H11's And replaced them with 30,000K Arctic Blue H.I.D'S Love the Look it ad's to the xB and still has a great cut off line with the stock Projectors. And now IM just enjoying the car and will be adding mod's little by little as time goo's.

Nice ride only advice I'd give would be to swap out the hid bulbs with 6k at the most. You're going to have a hard time seeing at night & in the rain with that temperature bulb.

Nice color choice btw!

Nice ride, congrats.

PS. I believe anything over 12K on HID is an actual coloring of the bulb to achieve the desired color, anything over 4300K is actually less light output (lumens). 30K ? Never even heard of it...

Hey Everyone Thank you for welcoming me to the Site and to the Scion Family.

As for the HID'S They are 30,000K. This allows you to get the x-act color desired.

Mine Are a Reli Reli DEEP BLUE!

As of 10-8-07

Car now had HID'S Done
Tinted the Two front windows to mach Stock privacy Tint.
*More to Come*

That spectrum looks waaay off. 12k is violet, at around 14k you have no usable light really in terms of lumens output. Where are you getting that spectrum?
