Default New wheels and tires

Wanted to ditch the hubcaps and found these Scion wheels for 200 brand new in the box. Matched them up with some Continental ExtemeContacts DWS 06. Very happy with the way it turned out.

Those are very nice. They are similar to the ones I am considering.

they look good, almost like the stock alloy's in gunmetal.

I've been trying to find a deal on stock alloy's for a while.

Default Installation issues

Ok, so I got my wheels delivered yesterday. Today, I called a couple of places to get estimates - Firestone and NTB. They both said that they would want to look at the wheels themselves before committing to installing them. I went to NTB, and they said that the mounting machine that they have would scratch the finish on the wheels because of the way the front mesh protrudes. Apparently there are newer machines that can do it safely but only certain shops have them. Anyhow, they recommended a place here called CJ's Tire and they are going to do the installation next week.

Eh, I have the same wheels and went to discount tire. They swapped the TPMS sensors and mounted and balanced the tires on the new wheels at no extra cost.

They're great wheels - I bought the set to replace the 19" TRD wheels (which looked great but rode horribly and went through tires very quickly)

Does Scion still sell the stock alloys?

You can still get Scion accessories through your dealer website. They are showing 3 sets of 5 spoke wheels available. 16" Split spoke $ 795, 19" TRD graphite or TRD matte black for $2150.
I got the spoiler installed last year.

Those wheels all look really sharp, and add so much to the look of the XBox. I spent a lot to time picking and pricing wheels before I stepped up and bought one of the last Xb models built. And to be honest what really sold me was the wheels on the 686 Parklan. The Crate just looked finished to me right outta the box (pun intented). Only options where TRD lowering springs, that strip across the back bumper, and the bespoke radio.

Works for me.
