It really seems like they were looking for things to hate. The integrated ipod connection is "quaint" because Ford has Sync? How many cars offer an integrated ipod connection and an aux port STANDARD?

The review was weird...at one point they say the seats are comfortable and easily configured into a comfortable spot, then they say they are uncomfortable and hard to get into a good position.

I realize the diff parts are from diff people, but they cannot agree on whether the seats are comfortable or whether it is loud or quiet at speed.

2nd opinions were the key to differences or contradictions.
Chee is an idiot!
Heywood isn't far behind in mentality!

1st rule with Scion is expect the unexpected.
1st gen and 2nd are not designed to be mainstream. They have incorporated in them strange or out of the norm attractions.
single backup lamp, center gauges, one armrest etc.?
These reviewers don't get it.

I have a bad back and have not suffered even one second of pain from the seats or the pillars (twisting around like yoga- please!!)
I would gather that all these guys miss the old days when pens were dipped into guills for writing. Lest they go for the easy to use papermate inexpensive option. No that would require change.

They talk about the Sync system in comparison to the xB ports, but forget to mention the major drawback to Sync.....

You have to buy a Ford!

Very funny!

And I agree with masterbassist... when you compare what else is out there in this class/price, xB rules!

I had an '06 xB and luv'd it, but the '08 has stuff that's more important... better safety, and an engine that can get out of it's own way.

The comments were lame it was like they wanted to say good things but had to ad a negitive aspect to it. I can care less what the critics have to say about the car. It like movie critics they just don't get it its all about the fun factor not being so damm serious. I love my Xb and have driven plenty of differnt cars and I would say its the best bang for the buck. Scion for life.

I read the comments on the Autoblog review and several people also mentioned the Mazda 3 as being the better choice than the xB. One commenter was questioning this here and the one response to that I found was pretty weak. I mean the xB isn't unanimously ugly like the Aztek.........or something...

Wow. You guys really wanna rip these guys a new one.

Lets face it, part of the appeal of a Scion xB is that not everyone owns one nor wants one. The aspects that make the car unique are the same reasons why some people hate it. This article proves the xB is not for everyone and that should make you happy. I'm very happy there aren't a million gold and black Minis running around. I like being different and I like that my car reflects that attitude. And that's why I'm at ScionLife, because the xB and xD are different and that makes me want it even more.

So don't complain about the idiots who aren't qualified to wipe their own butt let alone write car reviews, celebrate their stupidity for not seeing the Scion for what it is: the evil, anti-Camry. Via le differance.
