Default optional TRD springs

hey im new to this. well pretty much, im gonna buy a 09 xb. i want it lowered so by any chance does anyone know how many inches do those trd springs lower the car by?should i get it or by after market springs and lower them myslef?

I think the trds are about an inch all around. I would say do it yourself cause the dealer will charge you a grip for the parts and installation when i think pep boys and autozone or whatever rent the spring compressor for free. Its not difficult to do it yorself.

The only plus of having the dealer do it is that you will get them warranty for the warranty of your car and they lower about a 1 1/4 in the front and 1.5 in the back, but I think after they settle it might be a little lower. I have them and will try to get pics for you.

Here's a link to a thread with all the various drop specs for the different spring brands. And keep in mind that lower doesn't always mean a stiffer ride.
