Default A pillar creak report

I took it to the dealer for a broken/ collapsed rotary dial switch[vent controls] and A pillar creak yesterday. I gave them the TSB copy and it took them two days to fix it .. They informed me that the field engineer pointed that the SPRINGS [DF's] was the culprit [he sez that they used an electronic microphone] but they went along to do the TSB to stop me from whining.

So, I picked up my toaster today and they told me that there's no guarantee that the creak is gone since they couldnt test it because its raining [wtf] .. so as soon as I drove off from the dealeship I noticed that there's no creak as I accelerate , stop and turn. No creak as I take it in angle ramp/driveway . I went back and pointed that they did the job right shook their hands .. kiss them on the lips [not really] and told the field engineer to shove his electronic gizmo up his azz [not really but was tempted to] . As i drove home feeling good about the accomplishment , I noticed that the windsheild was fogged [it was raining] so I turn my brand new rotary switch to a defrost setting but it wouldnt let me... It's stuck on three positions only.

So called them again..... biatchin and whining.

But the creak is G O N E

what did they do to fix the crack?
they tried to say it was because you lowered it?
i hate dealerships allways looking for a way out of something

I dont have a cracked windshield if that's what your trying to imply but my rotary switch was broken from the attachment [plastic] when it was new , The A pillar creak problem is really what annoyed me .. The problem appeared at 500 miles, BEFORE I lowered the car . It wasnt that bad with the stock springs untill I lowered it . I think lowering the car would amplify the problem but in no case our fault cause my cousin's XB has a DEALER INSTALLED TRD [different dealer] and she had the same A pillar creaking .[in which they fix in a heartbeat.. no questions ask].

oh no im up on the A piller cracking problem, ive herd alot about it.
i would agree that once cracked that lowering it would make it worse, but i real don't think that that would start the problem.

did they weld it?
