I saw a picture of this on "newscionxb.com" and liked the look of it. So I did it today. It took all of 20 minutes. I like the way it makes the front A-pillar flow more smoothly into the roof line, as well as framing the windows....Thanks to lvbitwiz in Vegas for this idea [img][/img]

 

i agree, it does make it alot look alot cleaner. next you should remove the tape around the windows, its all the same as the a-pillar

 

how's the paint underneath the tape? i wanted to make sure it had a layer of clearcoat underneath it before trying this...

The paint under the stickers is the same as the rest of the box...fully painted and clearcoated. I like the look of the darker colors with all the tape removed. I think I'll keep mine around the windows as it really seems to frame the windows in a nice box like area

 

Yeah, the light colored cars don't look so good with the window frame tape removed because the outside rear view mirror mounts are black and it breaks up the line. IMHO.

 

the one that is around the windows looks fine to me since match with a nice dark tint

 

Been done many times over, but still looks just as nice each and every time it is done

 

Ah hell, wasn't my idea, lots of peeps have done it. But yeah, lighter colors look great with just the a pillar removed but keeping the windows framed
