So it doesn't happen all the time and not at the same time, but sometimes when I am making a right turn my doors will unlock and more often my interior light will come on... again not all the time, but can happen 2-3 times a week..,..I am a big guy and thought maybe I was pushing on the door too much, but have tried to recreate and can't... I do have a lot of deadening and speaker work done.

since you've had alot of work done. It sounds more like you've got some chafed wires , you may want to pull the door panel and look at the wire bundles

 

can't you just tell me this is common and everyone has this problem ... J/K I was thinking something like that,

Never had that happin in 4 years of owing a scion... nor have I heard of it.

yeah, my ca is seriously falling apart already... 6 months of ownership... had the little dash issue and now this and worst of all I can't get my auto trans to go into fifth gear...... I guess I should have bought the geo metro

staypuft.... nice pick, but I have my windows tinted so I can't see the gremlins

 

did you turn off the auto lock on the doors, or is there something preventing the latch from catching?

 

I am going to bump this and see if anyone else has had this problem
