Default Quick question on nax fix? Help Please

I was reading the nav fix and got little confussed. I know where the purple wire is that I cut and extend both wires to a switch. Now the green wire says to cut???? what do I do with it just cut it and cap it off? Thanks

Ok, I got it, cut the green and do nothing to it. I just wanted to make sure.

Ok, I have found the purple wire behind the head unit. I can not find the green wire. I looked at the picture hundred times and mine just isn't there. Am I missing something? I looked and looked...there is no stand alone green wire with silver on it. Someone please help me find it. I am in the right spot, is it in the wire wrap maybe???
